@apparentsoft Yep. It’s an especially frightening point-of-failure in an automated build setup. Timestamp requests for DeveloperID codesigning do not happen by default in Lion, so my code-signing box will remain on Lion for now. source:http://bit.ly/P8JBag

@apparentsoft There *was* a ML-specific bug that would cause that error. I don’t know if they’ve fixed it yet, but I continue to code-sign on Lion. You might try adding “–timestamp=none” to the codesign flags.
