@patgmac My guess is that it’s just a convenience. So when you setup the machine you don’t have to come up with another password.

@patgmac Yep i noticed it when I setup my new iMac and then had to change my Apple ID password.

@patgmac And if you change your Apple ID password, the machine keeps the old one.

The bikes are a hit. Also we took the three year-old off training wheels today and it’s going pretty well.
