@masnick Exporting to Dropbox now. Can’t be any worse and might be a little safer.

@masnick I guess I’m worried about data corruption. Some images in https://t.co/RgXHe9ftk9 were damaged and then propagated to my backups.

I briefly considered moving my dropbox folder to an external drive. Then I read this.

If you want to put your Dropbox folder on an external drive, proceed with caution. If the external drive is disconnected from the computer while Dropbox is running, there’s a small chance that the app will start deleting files before realizing that the entire drive has been removed. Again: When it comes to using an external drive for your Dropbox folder, tread carefully.

All other features be damned. Is there any photo management app or service that makes any guarantee whatsoever regarding data integrity?

The https://t.co/RgXHe9x4bH export finally finished overnight. Almost 800 images are missing or damaged.

Last night I watched a few videos explaining how to build a retaining wall. I’m 80% sure I could do it, but only 50% sure that the wall wouldn’t fall over in less than a year.
