Well the city is being evacuated. The baby and I, however, get to stay and get an up close look at a hurricane. 🙃

Aaaaaaand now they’re boarding up the windows of the hospital. I should have known Hurricane Matthew would come for me.

I just ate sushi from a hospital cafeteria… for breakfast. 

We all make questionable life decisions from time to time, right?

I’ve made a point to not complain to anybody about my stupid broken foot even once. It’s nothing.

We met a mother whose 18mo old daughter has never been outside the hospital even once.

One thing I’ve learned from living in a hospital for a month, there is always someone whose situation is worse. I feel very fortunate.
